How a Pressure Cooker Works
Pressure cookers use high-temperature, high-pressure cooking to cook food quickly at high temperatures and pressure by adding pressure to the pot. When the pressure cooker is completely airtight and heated, the pressure inside the pot rises and the temperature increases, thereby softening the food in a short time.
